I was hired by a Los Angeles ad agency to write a voiceover for this Yvolution commercial for Toys“R”Us emphasizing the scooter’s features. They wanted a steady commentary throughout.

Press-on Nails Collection
The Salon Perfect team wanted a fun story about the benefits of their Press-on Nails—that they’re quick and easy to apply. I wrote “The Vacation” as we brainstormed in a notebook and they just gave it to the designer as-is. I was in-house at Aii Beauty, a manufacturer in LA.
At a time when a lot of brands had a line of nude-colored nail polish, Salon Perfect asked me to emphasize that theirs was actually good for your nails. The double entendres were empowering.
